Designed for Year 10-12 students facing the pressure and stresses of higher study, this resource can be adapted for other years with helpful tips and suggestions throughout. Whether used to introduce to your students a daily practice, or used in your classes to give your students the balance, focus and relaxation they need to get through this busy time, meditation is a skill that will not only manage their exam stress, but one they can use for the rest of their lives. The resource includes:

  • 15-minute meditation audio sessions;
  • Practical activities for teachers and senior students;
  • An understanding of the practice of meditation and mindfulness, how it can be used for study focus, and as a relaxing mechanism, and how to do these in the classroom;
  • Engaging student activities: Meditation styles from around the world with Great Minds.

This podcast or teaching resource is not health advice. Please do not listen to any meditations while doing something that requires your full attention.

If you, or anyone you are guiding in a meditation, are experiencing distressing symptoms while meditating, then we recommend stopping and seeking help if needed.
