About our presenter
Sister Emerald is a teacher in the tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. She received full ordination in 1996 at Plum Village in France. Following that, she traveled around the world with her teacher helping to organize, leading group sharing, giving consultations and sometimes leading childrens activities. She adds to this her early experience in the US as a youth leader in the Buddhist Youth Association. Her base was in Plum Village France until arriving in Sydney in 2005.

Recently Sister Emerald has been planning a program of mindfulness activities for children to encompass the school year targeting the primary stage groups.

Their life style and teaching focuses on self-care for a healthy life in body and mind and self-healing without relying on western or eastern treatments.
